A Little Bit About Me

I have always enjoyed photography, but only took a more serious approach to it 6 years ago after I purchased a Canon 5D. Without the automatic setting I was lost. I then joined Ennis Camera Club and with the help of some of the more senior member I was thought how to use the camera in Full manual mode. Since then I haven’t looked back.

After obtaining my Licentiachip from the Irish Photographic Federation, (LIPF) in November 2011, I decided to try something new. So in April 2012 I decided that I was going to try for my Associateship (AIPF) and turned my sights on Portraiture.

In May 2013 I was awarded my Associateship from the Irish Photographic Federation (AIPF), in June 2014 I was awarded my Licentiateship with the SWPP (LSWPP), in May 2017 I was awarded my Associateship with the SWPP. I have now set my sights on the Fellowship with the Irish Photographic Federation (FIPF) and my.  It going to be a challenge to bring my photography up to the next level, but what is life without challenge.

As a bi product of my journey into Portraiture I have been privileged to meet and work with loads of very talented artists and now feel privileged to call them friends, and am always looking to make new friends.

I started taking image casually, mostly landscapes. When I learned how to shoot manually everything changed for me and my journey into photogrpahy.
